[►] I’m sure most of you have heard about the 50 Shades of Sexy Blogger Challenge, but if you haven’t, that link will explain why you’ll being seeing a sexy picture from me once a week (hopefully!).  I usually fail at both being sexy AND blogger challenges, but we’re gonna give it a shot.

Week one’s wantonly sexy theme is cotton candy.  Cotton candy always makes me think -pink-..so this is what I came up with. I know, I know..there’s not a lot of clothes here..but that’s not entirely a bad thing, is it? I hope the rest of you bloggers will join the challenge, too! Have fun! <3

I walk in the air, between the rain, through myself and back again…

[►]  While I was out today, I ran across this sim: Eagle Crest.  It’s modeled after an old run down carnival and a fantastic spot to take pictures.  It’s very dreary and weathered.  I really couldn’t help but be reminded of my hometown, a little hole in the wall town in the southern US.  I guess on first impression, you’d think I’m your typical southern girl.  I have the accent, I have the smooth slowness of the southern stereotypical southern girl’s personality, I have the huge family, spread out from one end of the county to the next.  But in reality, I was never and have never been your typical southern girl.  I was kind of a square peg in a round hole there, always looking for a way out.  I was never meant to be a small town girl, much to my parents chagrin.

When I got a little older, I started to rebel in whatever way I could..whatever way I felt would show everybody that I would definitely be the one getting out of that small town.  I dyed my hair crazy colors, I sneaked out and went to concerts at clubs I shouldn’t have been able to get in, I wore short skirts and lots of jewelry…and I tried desperately to get lose my accent.  I’m a bit older now, I still dye my hair, wear short skirts and lots of jewelry and I did make it out of that small town.  I never could lose that accent though.  This Counting Crows song, Round Here, will always and forever remind me of those years.

Enough rambling, huh? Sorry it’s 6:30 am and I haven’t really slept yet..so please excuse the introspection.  The look I put together for this post is kind of a throw back to me, age 16.  There’s so much I love about this post (including the new mesh skirt I just released at .evolve.) *insert shameless self-promotion.  The new skin from Body Co, Petal, is one that I fell in love with as soon as I saw it.  I’ve been looking for a skin to make me look a lil bit older for awhile and this one does! I need a break from looking like a kid.  These new boots from *Crazy* make me very, very happy too.  I find myself loving mesh more and more all the time.  I’m also wearing a lot of accessories.  My two favs are the new necklace from je suis; an owl watch and the mesh bag from *Tea Time*.  That’s about all for now.  If you made it through reading my ramblings, you get a gold star. ☆

[►]  I know you’ve all been hearing about The Four Corners Event that’s starting on December 17th.  There are four separate sections: Alluring Modesty, Bikes & Spikes, Delightfully Bright and Delicate Damsel.  Each “corner” has items specific to that area, and let me tell ya, there’s some really adorable stuff. I was fortunate to get to go a little before the event begins and grab a few items.  I wanted to show off a few of my favorite bits.  This skirt is from the Delicate Damsel corner, the hair can be found in Alluring Modesty,  and the Eyes in Delightfully Bright.  When the event does open, I’ll repost slurls here, but until that time you can get more information about it here: Four Corners.

[►]  What’s your favorite color?? Mine is purple!  I love purple! And this new purple mini skirt from -BC- is soo super cute!  It’s also soo super short, which I also love! I also love these henleys from Aura.  There are tons of different colors and they’re absolutely adorable! Also…in the background of these pics you can see an awesome Juke Box.  I have been searching the grid for ages for a Juke Box like this.  It’s from Stuff Store, made completely of MESH and comes in classic and modern color variations.  It also comes pre-scripted with several different radio stations! I have to say…I looooooove it. <333

[►] It feels great to be back blogging again! I have been so so busy with RL this past week, I haven’t had the time.  Hopefully, I’ll be able to play catch up this weekend! [►] First of all, I just wanna say that I am soooo glad to one of my most favorite people in SL back on the grid. I have missed you sooooooo much Kellie. <3 And by the way, this chic doesn’t mess around..she comes back and almost immediately starts creating again! I’m wearing her shiny new pants from (Elate!) in teal below.  They come in several different colors, but these teal pants are special and I’ll tell you why.  Teal is the color that is representative of Ovarian Cancer and Ovarian Cancer Research.  Kellie will be donating all proceeds made from the sell of these pants in teal to OutRun Ovarian Cancer for research.  In addition, should you like to make a monetary donation to a very worthy cause, you can visit OutRun Ovarian Cancer to do so. [►] I know I’ve said this before, but Autumn is my favorite time of year.  Today was the first day that the weather here has been fall-like.  When I got home from work, I was so excited to slip on an oversized sweater and jeans and sit outside for awhile.  So, I decided I’d do the same on SL. I picked up this new sweater from [NV], it’s just the perfect amount of comfy and cute.  It comes in several different colors, too..it took me ages to decide which color to get.  I paired it with these new jeans from -BC- which are adorable.  I love the texture and fit.  I picked up a couple awesome freebies from Baffle! earlier in the week and wanted to show them off.  One is a butterfly nose attachment and the other is the bouquet of butterflies pose in the second picture.  I love them both! You should scoot over there and grab them, too! <3
